Off-Campus Housing

UConn Avery Point campus does not offer on-campus housing; all students attending this campus are commuters. Many students commute from their homes. There are, however, a significant number of students each year who choose to commute from off-campus apartments in the great Groton community.

The campus has forged relationships with several apartment complexes in the Groton community where our students can choose to live. The apartment complexes range from 1.65 miles/2 minutes to 3.6 miles/8 minutes from campus.

By choosing this option, you can enjoy independent living with fellow Avery Point students as roommates. Avery Point maintains a secure website to facilitate students finding and choosing roommates. Anyone interested in living in an off-campus apartment should contact Lisa Hastings in the Welcome Center or (860) 405-9262 for more information.
