Career Services

Our Mission

To assist students in identifying their interests, values, skills, and personality preferences so they can make meaningful and satisfying career decisions and be a competitive member of the global workforce.

Our Philosophy

To give students the tools to enable them to discover their own career path; we do not “place” students in internships or jobs, rather we give them life-long skills for achieving their career goals, which may include employment, studying abroad, and graduate study.

For Employers

Career Services at UConn Avery Point welcomes jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities.

Post a Position

Employers have the opportunity to list full-time, internship, or cooperative education positions via our web-based recruiting system known as HuskyCareer Link. Opportunities posted electronically by employers are viewed by UConn students and alumni, who then apply for the positions through the system. Resumes and other supporting documents are sent to the employer via email as they are submitted.

Returning and new employers may access the system at https://uconn-csm.symplicity.com/employers/

Directions for employers posting jobs may be found in the Employer Guide for Posting Jobs.

Recruiting Policies

Please review our policies and guides as a first step toward creating an effective partnership with the Department.
