The Associated Student Government (ASG) at Avery Point is the governing body of the student body, and the voice of the student population on campus. Established in 1967, the Mission Statement of the Avery Point ASG is:
Mission: To represent the interests of the student body with the Administration of the University of Connecticut and the community. To supervise all student activities funded by the ASG and oversee the finances of organizations receiving funds from the ASG. To promote cooperation between the Avery Point campus, the main campus, and other regional campuses.
Student Government meets every Thursday @ 12:15 in ACD 109
Student Government President for the 2013/2014 academic year is Ron Tardiff.
